Students to air podcasts on WGXC | Events

Students at Tech Valley High School in East Greenbush are researching the various religious beliefs during a project that has taken them to numerous religious sights.

The freshmen are researching and creating a podcast about the variety of religious faiths practiced in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley.

To further understand the beliefs, the students visited a Troy synagogue, a Hindu temple in Albany, a mosque in Schenectady and heard from guest speakers representing the Buddhist and Christian religions.

Some of the podcasts created by the teams of students will be aired on the WGXC, a radio station that broadcasts out of the Hudson-Catskill area.

The final podcasts are scheduled to be turned into the radio station the first week of March.
